What would an ideal weekend for you look like?
In younger years it was a day playing cricket on a turf wicket with the smell of freshly mowed grass and a day socialising with friends. Now, it’s a couple of days of socialising with family and friends with meals, movies and volunteer community activities.
What’s a skill you’d love to learn?
Cooking is a skill I’d love to learn. It is so creative and nourishing, physically and mentally. When done really well it can bring great joy to others too.
Which do you prefer, museums or art galleries, an infinity pool or a sandy beach, Bali or Berlin? Why?
I prefer museums and would love to visit Berlin – both for their impressive historical values and lessons. Sandy beaches are a favourite to walk along, relax and admire the natural beauty. A great opportunity for me to recharge my batteries.

Continuing seva (Sanskrit word meaning ‘selfless service’) for as long as I am able.

A cup of strong English Breakfast tea to kick start the day – coffees can come later!
Where is a place you’ve always wanted to travel to?
Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania, East Africa – to experience the annual Great Migration of wildlife.
Describe your personal ‘brand’ in four words
Professional, collaborative, spiritual and outcomes focused.
What food will always remind you of your childhood and why?
Corn on the cob and cassava roasted on hot coals and generously flavoured with lime, salt and chilli. Reminds me of the delicious snacks we would buy after finishing the day at primary school in Nairobi, Kenya.
If you had a spare 10 minutes right now, how would you use it?
Spending time doing activities or just being with my gorgeous daughter to try and make up for all the times I was away travelling for work when she was a young child. But we would both need to have the spare 10 minutes!
