Sharan Gill, Head of Claims at Law Mutual, recently donated a stunning First Nations artwork from Artitja Fine Art Gallery to Ashley Macknay of MDS Legal.
As the joint top individual fundraiser for the Law Access Walk for Justice 2025, Sharan earned a voucher to Artitja Fine Art Gallery. She selected this striking piece and decided to gift it to Ashley, her top donor, as a token of appreciation for backing her fundraising efforts.
The annual Walk for Justice event honors the pro bono work of the legal community in WA while raising essential funds for Law Access. Law Access, a charitable organisation, facilitates pro bono legal assistance to those who cannot afford a lawyer.
This year, with the support of 900 legal professionals, the walk successfully raised over $169,000 to promote equal access to justice for all Western Australians. The event took place on National Pro Bono Day during National Law Week 2025.
